I have run several races from 5Ks to marathons. My marathon PR is 4:19
Short-Term Running Goals:
I will finish this years marathon in a time that will let me keep my pride intact...
Long-Term Running Goals:
I want to finish at least ten St.George marathons along with a ton of other races
Personal:
I started running because it seemed to be the only way to keep the weight off. Now I am addicted. I have been married for almost twenty years and we have four fantastic kids, one of which shares my addiction. She beats me at every race I take her to--I'm so proud of her!
got the run done early, just didn't get to the computer until late. I did seven on the bike and four on foot. Someday maybe I'll be as fast on my feet as on the bile, but for today it was a 10m/m. My lower back is giving me fits. Any ideas??
I also have lower back issues. Since I have lost some weight it has helped a lot. But it still gives me problems once in a while. One thing I have found is to not sleep on my back or stomach. I have to stay on a side and it helps to curl into a ball as much as possible. I'm not sure if that is something to help you or not, but I thought I'd throw it out to you. I know how miserable the lower back issues are! Good luck with it.
Sorry, no good ideas from me on your back. But awesome job getting in the running AND biking today!
