I will finish this years marathon in a time that will let me keep my pride intact...

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to finish at least ten St.George marathons along with a ton of other races

Personal:

I started running because it seemed to be the only way to keep the weight off. Now I am addicted. I have been married for almost twenty years and we have four fantastic kids, one of which shares my addiction. She beats me at every race I take her to--I'm so proud of her!

I got a hour plus total body workout at the gym today, strength and balance training mostly.   I am putting together some new stuff for a client and I wanted to try it out myself before I make anyone else do it.  

Then I still had my run to do. A good four miles. I averaged 10.10m/m I stayed up way too late last night researching stuff for a client and I'm tired as anything. I don't think I'll get a nap today so I did the run as soon as I got home from work. I should get more sleep tonight so tomorrow will feel much easier.

Cool! As soon as I know the plan for Sat. I'll let you know. Sorry it usually isn't until Friday evening that I have details, but I'll keep you posted! What do you think are the best workouts to do at home for toning, definition? I have missed my 2 weight classes this week and feel like a slob. I'm going to try to get in some weights at home tonight.

Hey Carrie! Tomorrow my friend Heather & I are going to run about 8-9 miles around Green Springs. We'd love for you to come if you're up for it. Meet me at 6 am at Gold's Gym parking lot (I just park on the left when you first pull into the lot, I'll probably be in my husband's beater, silver ford escort sedan) Then we can drive over to Heather's together, we'll start from there. She's only 2 min. from the gym. I'll look for you in the morning!
