Personal:

Finally back for a run. It was hard after a week off, but I got five miles in. My daughter is doing okay, but she won't be running for a long time. She will be going to therapy three times a week until her muscles and everything are strong again.  She is determined to get back to a hundred percent.

I have a 5K on Saturday, but it won't be a fast one. I asked my biggest loser team to sign up for it and all but one of them is coming. The only reason the last one is bailing is she will be out of town. This will be a HUGE deal for these guys, I am so excited about the life style change they are making!

Is it the Run 4 Kids you are doing? Tom and I are going to be in town and decided to sign up for it. Maybe I'll be able to meet you.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kiya's accident! Please give her our best. With her determination, I'm sure she'll come back stronger than ever. Good luck on Saturday's 5K!
